Alesia’s national charity platform is with Breakfast for Learning; Canadian Living Foundation.

BFL works with communities, throughout each province and territory in Canada, to initiate and sustain successful school nourishment programs and provide health education and community development to youth.

The made-in-Canada model brings together public, private and volunteer sectors to provide nutritious food in caring, family-centered programs. It also supports ongoing research that demonstrates how good nutrition benefits learning.

Many people are unaware of the critical issue of child nutrition in Canada and its link to learning and proper development. For decades, school nutrition programs have been standard in most developed nations, yet Canada lags behind.
